Busy busy July!

July was such a busy month for our family! I cannot believe that it is almost over! Here's a recap of what we've been up too...

On the 4th we went to my parents and had a bbq with my whole family and my best friend Erin and her hubby Paul. They're considered family, there for everything! :) Fireworks were so much fun. I was shocked that Kaydence loved the sparklers cuz she's usually a scaredy cat when it comes to things like that. Uncle David brought glow sticks so of course the kids LOVED them too!

My baby sister Cassie got married on the 16th and I had so so much to do for that! Including making flower girls dresses, bridesmaid dresses, making the sign in book and styling 6 girls hair! Needless to say, I will not be looking at my sewing machine again for a very long time! LOL! The wedding was so fun! Her hubby Harrison is Hispanic so they had all kinds of different traditions to do for the reception. There was a dance by the whole bridal party, a money exchange and lasso thing. It was really fun to see such different things and make fools of ourselves dancing. :) Kaydence was a flower girl and did a great job throwing her flowers, once they persuaded her to walk down the aisle. LOL! All in all, it was a very fun day! Sorry, no pics. I forgot my camera. :( I'll have to get some from my parents and post them.

On the 24th we got together with some of Rob's family and went swimming and played volleyball. It was a lot of fun! Rob and I got pretty sunburned but it happens when you have kids and are mainly worried about them getting burned. Later, everyone came to our house and did some fireworks. I think that I like them better than anyone. Kaydence just wanted sparklers again. :)

Here are some pics from our busy month! Enjoy!

Papa and his grandbabies!

Getting so big! Don't mind the yucky eye. He had a clogged tear duct but the Dr gave us some drops for it and it cleared up in a week! Yay! So much better.

Easton loves his bumbo!

We got to bless Easton last month and it was such a fun day! We had everyone in both of our families at church and everyone in the ward kept thanking us for taking up almost the whole chapel! Ha ha.
Rob gave Easton such an amazing blessing and all of our brothers and brothers-in-law stood in the circle. It was so nice to take a step back and look at how lucky I really am to have such an amazing family! I am so so grateful that Rob can do that for our children! It is a day that I will never forget! I'm such a nerd but I take notes after the blessing and write it down in their baby books so that they can know the things that were said for them. :)
Afterward we had a huge luncheon at my parents with tons of food and it was so nice just to hang out with everyone.

Daddy and his little man (sorry i don't know how to flip the picture)

Our new little family of 4! Kaydence was not happy to take time out of playing to take pictures. Our little drama queen! :)

Easton and his papa. We always joke that my dad and Easton are kindred souls! Ha ha. My dad can calm him right down and Easton has the same huge dimple on his right cheek as my dad does.

Our crazy life!

Everyone knows that we had our cute little Easton in April but I've had so many people get after me because I don't put pics on here very often so I figured I'd better do it.
I'll start from the beginning... :)

Just arrived at the hospital. Ready to get this show on the road. It's so weird to look back on this picture and know that he was crammed in my belly!

Easton made his big debut at 6:39 p.m on April 10th. Exactly 12 hours after I got there.
He weighed 8 lbs 8 oz and was 20 inches long.

Exercising his new little lungs! He sure did let us know he was here! Ha ha.

My first time holding my little guy! Man I was swollen and exhausted!

First time meeting his big sister! Kaydence kept saying it was her turn to hold her new baby brother!

Kaydence kept playing doctor and listening to Easton's heartbeat. Yup, guess she thinks it's in his head. Ha ha. He's such a sport to let her pick on him. :)

Daddy's little angels!

The transition to home life with 2 kids was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. You really do know what to expect with your 2nd kid. The only challenge was feeling like I gave them both enough attention. Kaydence loves her baby brother and is so helpful getting diapers or anything that she can for me. She is such a happy little girl and has adjusted really well. Now it's just onward and upward to our crazy life.

Kaydence in a bouncy castle at her friend Sofie's birthday party. She was rolling with laughter the whole time!

Kaydence loves to lay down and copy Easton kicking his legs and trying to roll over. He's not quite sure what to think of her laughing so loud. :) 4 weeks old

Easton's favorite little swingin spot

First outing to church! 7 weeks old

My adorable twosome!

I finally feel like I have gotten to hang of things. The last few weeks have been really great. Easton sleeps 7-8 hours at night and still eats like a champ. He already weighs over 14 lbs!!!! Kaydence wasn't that big til she was 9 months old. Ha ha. He already wears 6 month clothes. It is so much fun to have a big chunky baby! :) He loves to just lay on a blanket and watch Kaydence sing and dance for him! He smiles all the time and makes cooing noises all day long. He is so ticklish, it's adorable to watch him squirm and smile. I cannot tell you how much I enjoy having him in our family!
Kaydence is getting so big! I cannot believe how grown up she is. I think that we've finally got potty training down!! Halelujah!!!! It's like it just clicked one day and she decided it was really gross to go in her diaper. I knew that one day it would happen for her! :) What a relief! She loves to play games and pretend that she is making you food or being a doctor. She makes me laugh all day long. She had a rough couple weeks awhile ago but luckily it didn't last too long. :)
Robs work is going pretty well and he's actually really enjoying it. What a relief huh. :) He plays softball on a recreation league and really likes it. It's fun to take the kids out and watch him every week too. Kaydence cheers for her daddy the whole time.
I am really really grateful that I get to stay home with my kids. It just feels so right for us and right where I need to be. I definitely agree with everyone that says that being a mom is the hardest job you'll ever love! I miss working at the salon and seeing friends but I've got quite a few people coming to my house to get their hair done so it makes up for it. :)
Well, sorry this post is so long but it's fun to let everyone know what's up with the Pecks. Basically we're just loving life and really happy! :)

Happy 5 years!!!

Rob and I got married 5 years ago today!!! It is weird to think that 5 years ago I couldn't have told you where I'd be today... to have a cute little home, 2 adorable kids and the most amazing, wonderful husband ever! I never could've imagined all the blessings that I have in my life! I also couldn't tell you what I did to deserve everything that I have but I guess I did something right. :)
I feel so blessed and I hope that I can keep this positive attitude and feeling in my everyday life, when things don't go perfect. I know I need to take more time to sit back, look at the big picture and realize just how lucky I am.
I don't mean to sound weird but I feel like I had an appifany (no idea how to spell that) today and I wanted to document it to remember that life is good!

P.S- I love you so so so much Rob and I can't imagine going through this crazy journey with anyone else!

Our little guy is here!

Our baby boy finally arrived on April 10th at 6:39 p.m! Easton was 8 lbs and 8 oz and 20 inches long. Pretty good size but not as big as I was worried he was going to be. The dr said that if I'd gone another week to my due date he would've definitely been over 9 lbs. Yikes. LOL!
Things went really well. A little slow start but once he decided to completely drop it went really fast. Only 3 pushes and he was here. :) It was so nice to have a nice normal delivery where I got to hold him right after be came and Rob got to cut the cord. Poor little Kaydence was sick when she was born so we missed out on all that fun stuff.
Easton has been such an awesome baby and is such a blessing! I really can't imagine having a better baby. Kaydence had reflux and wouldn't nurse so she was a little fussy baby for the first little bit.
So, everything is going great and everyone is doing well. Hopefully I can figure out how to put pictures on my mom's computer next time to show off our handsome little guy! :)
Hope all is well with everyone!

Oh how time flies!

Wow, I can't believe how long it has been since I updated my blog. Things are going really well with us. I'm growing by the minute and this little boy is the most active baby ever! It is so fun to get to feel him all the time and it gives me piece of mind that all is well. I can't believe that I only have about 9 more weeks to go!! I went to the doctor today and he says that I am still measuring big so I will probably go a couple weeks early, which is more than fine with me. One day at a time though right. :)
We are 99% sure on a name... It'll be Robert Easton Peck. Rob's name is carried down 4 generations so we wanna keep it going but he'll go by Easton for sure. That is our favorite name for now but who knows if we'll change our minds. We may have to meet the little guy before making the final decision.
Kaydence is doing so good and growing like a weed! It amazes me everyday at the things that she does or says. We started to potty train her 2 weeks ago and she is doing really well. She doesn't have pee accidents but we're havin a hard time gettin her to go #2 in the potty. I know that is probably a little more info than everyone wants to hear but what are blogs for?!? :)
My family is growing like crazy! My older sister is prego with her 3rd baby and due 10 weeks after me. She just found out on monday that it is a girl. That makes 2 girls and 1 boy for her. She is ecstatic! Also, my big brother and his wife just told us on Sunday that they are going to have their first baby in September! They couldn't be happier and we are so so excited for them! 3 babies in the fam in 5 months... It's gonna be chaos but so much fun!
Sorry it took so long for me to catch everyone up but it's hard not having the internet at home anymore. Hope all is well with everyone and I'll update again soon. Before the baby comes in April, I promise. ;)

What's in a name?...

Ok, so I woke up a couple weeks ago freaking out because we don't have a name for this little guy yet. I know that I am probably worrying too soon because I am only 22 weeks along so there is plenty of time but I am such a detail oriented person that I feel the need to decide now.
I think that it is so much harder to come up with a name for a boy. Would anyone else agree with me? I think that you have to think a whole lot more about how he'll like it when he's older and if it is a name that works for a little boy and a man.
So far our favorite name is Easton. I really like it but I just don't feel the love factor about it. Ya know what I mean? Kaydence's name was easy cuz we both loved it but I can't find a boy name that makes me feel the same way. We also like Logan and Cameron but I feel the same way about those names too. So, am I crazy? I'm starting to think that maybe I just won't love a boys name.
So please help me and give me your thoughts on it because I feel like I am stressing out way too much about this and I thought that maybe some advice might help.
Feel free to call me crazy but you know how it is if you've been pregnant before... You worry about anything and everything! Thanks everyone!
