Wonderscope Childrens Museum!!

Here in Shawnee, Kansas there is a children's museum that is alot like Discovery Gateway. There are different rooms with different activities for the children to do. Their favorite was the golfball rollercoasters and the sound room, where they used everyday objects to make cool sounds. There was also a farm, shopping room, tinker room and many more. We got to go with our friends the Noerrings and Arthurs. All of the kids LOVED it!

Watch out! Easton is ready for battle!

There were tubes that blow air through them and you could put scarves inside and they would zip around and shoot out of different ends. The kids thought this was hysterical! Especially when they got hit in the face with a scarf.

They had an awesome mini Legoland where everything was built out of legos!

Look out, Easton's on the controls!!

Our first month!!

It is so crazy that we've been here for a month already! Things are going really great so far. We've had the chance to explore the city and we've seen a few things and spent lots of time at the park and pool. The weather was beautiful last week but the humidity is definitely kicking in. A couple of days it felt like you were stepping into a sauna when you went outside.
I didn't think that I would like living in an apartment but i love it! It is so nice to be able to clean the house from top to bottom in an hour. We really don't have much stuff here and I'm suprised that I don't find myself missing any of our things from home.
Rob is doing GREAT at his job! It is so great to see him growing and gaining the confidence in himself that is needed to do this job. He is #2 of the first year reps in our office!! With our really good friend Bryce as #1, there is some very friendly competition going on there and the race is tight. LOL! It is so great to see him being successful and alot of our friends as well. It is so good to see him enjoying what he does. He has had a good experience getting to talk to lots of different people daily. We've had some pretty weird and really funny things happen to some of the guys in the office but nothing too exciting happen to him so far. Fingers crossed it stays that way!! :)
Here are some picture from our trip here and the area around where we live.

Our little guy is 1!

Easton turned 1 over a month ago but life has been so so crazy that I am just barely getting a chance to blog about it.
Here are his stats from his 1 yr appointment:
24 lbs (75th percentile)
28 inches (70th percentile)
I don't remember his head size but it was 50th percentile
He started walking at 10 1/2 months. Has 4 teeth. Says Da-da all day long. He also can say ma-ma and ba-ba. He is the happiest and most content baby I have ever seen.

We had a combined birthday party at my paretns house for Easton and I since our birthdays are only 4 days apart and EVERYONE on my side of the family came and it was so so fun! We opened presents, ate dinner and of course had cake.

Easton got a big foam hammer from his sissy and he figured out quick that he can bite it to shreds

Two of a kind! Easton and his papa

Look at this beautiful little face!

Spoiled with lots of fun presents

Cheesy face

Easton wasn't interested in his cake at all. He wouldn't touch it so I took his hands and smashed them into it and he just started to cry. Definitely not like he eats his dinner. We got him a spoon and he started to taste it a bit but it took his sissy helping him to figure out how yummy it was.
Sissy helping stuff his face

All done with cake. What a mess!

I am the luckiest mom in the world to get to have this little guy in my life! He is definitely one of the BEST things that has ever happened in my life. It is so fun to listen to him laugh and watch him discover new things everyday.
