Merry Christmas all!

Christmas was absolutely awesome this year! I am still such a little kid. I couldn't go to sleep the night before so I stayed up watching A Christmas Story til after 1 in the morning! Each year we switch off which family we go to early moring and this year was Robs family. We woke up and got there about 7 a.m. Everyone got there around that time and we started opening presents shortly after. We all got some fun stuff. Kaydence got a baby doll that she adores! Its always so much fun being with his siblings and they're spouses. We have a good time!
After that we went to my parents about 9:30. They all came and watched us open our presents cuz they were all long done. With my little brother, I was not surprised. We got some great stuff there too! I got lots of clothes and a cute purse. Rob got a game that we are obsesses with now! It's called ticket to ride. He got spoiled too with clothes. Kaydence got so many toys and had to open them all as we went. So, present opening took forever! It was so fun to see her really into it this year!
My Uncle and his family came over and they are always fun to hang out with! I have a cousin that is in hair school now so I bet ya can't guess what we talk about the whole time!
We went home and did our Christmas after that. Rob got me books and take a wild guess what else... more clothes! I'm such a girly girl! I got him a few things that he was surprised about but his favorite being an exercise thing that you put in the doorway. He loves it. His shoulder isn't quite healed yet so its a good easy exercise he can do now.
Anyway, sorry I went on so long but Christmas is my absolute favorite time of year!!
We are so blessed that we have 2 great families that we are so close with! It's easy to forget that Christmas isn't about the presents and the lights but it is about our Savior and what he has done for us. About his birth and what a blessing he has given us through His church! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and hope you have a happy new year!

Kaydence loved this ball popper that my sister got my nephew. She didn't leave it alone practically the whole time we were at my moms. So I went the next day and bought her one! Ultimate favorite toy ever!

One of Kaydences favorite presents was a backpack that my mom gave her. The thing is almost as big as she is but she insists on wearing it all the time.

Giving her new baby kisses! You can see the Peck family Christmas chaos behind her! It's fun and really messy having a big family!

My sister and brother in law have an ugly pajama contest every year. They make each others pajamas! I think Amy definitely won this year! Bryce looked hilarious. Wish you could see his light up wings and big bow on his bottom in this pic!

Not exactly how you play basketball...

I know I'm a little behind on the times but I really wanted all the Harry Potter books!

Daddys favorite present!

The medical mystery is solved... I think...

First off, thanks so much to everyone that commented on my blog and called with their thoughts on what has been going on with Kaydence. I really have appreciated it! My friend Julie called me and told me about something her son had called Roseola and that sounded exactly like what she has! All the symptoms she described sounded the same. So I went on WebMd and researched it more. EVERYTHING on there matches what she has. Loss of appetite, drowsiness, hive like rash all over the trunk area and upset tummy. I'm stil concerned because she still has a upset tummy so i called the pediatrician and she asked about the medicine they gave me last week and guess what the main ingredient in that medicine is... MILK!! Now anyone that knows us knows that Kaydence is extremely allergic to dairy! DUH, I'm really irritated cuz i told the doctor that she is really allergic to dairy and she still prescribed that. Kaydence's normal doctor wasn't there so I had to see another one and I am not fond of her at all. So anyway, they put Kaydence on a very strict diet for the next week and we'll see what happens. They joys of motherhood!! It's hard to not take it personal when something is wrong with your child but i wouldn't trade being a mom for anything in the world! I love my little princess! :)

Poor baby girl!

So Friday morning i got Kaydence out of bed and i was changing her diaper and she had really bad diaper rash. It was really red with big red spots on the inside of her leg. I was worried so I had my mom come look at it and guess what she said they are... chickenpox! I started freaking out and took her to the doctor. The doctor said that she couldn't tell 100% if they were or not. So I am utterly confused... She gave me some cream and said that if it didn't help the spots then they were chickenpox. Oh and yes she did get the vaccine at her one year appt but there are kids that can still get it. Lucky us!! :( They are already healing so either the cream worked or if they are pox then they are almost gone because the doctor told me what they'd look like when they heal. Still utterly confused... I have no clue where she got them from but hopefully it'll be over with and one less thing to worry about later on. Just to be on the safe side the doctor said that I should keep her away from others for a week or so. So sorry but I hope this explains why i haven't done friend or neighbor Christmas presents yet. Hopefully I'll get to it but if not, I am so sorry. :( If anyone has any advice or can sympathize with me that would be great cuz I feel like the worst mom in the world right now. :(

What's new with the Pecks!

Sorry no pics to go along with this blog. I've been bad about taking them but I promise I'll try to be better.
We got our Christmas tree put up last Sunday! It was so much fun. Rob helped put it together but I put most of the ornaments on because that's more my thing. We contemplated even putting one up with Kaydence being as curious as she is but it just isn't Christmas without a tree so this gave me an excuse to go buy all new ornaments! I got some really cute ones and they're plastic so Kaydence can't get hurt on them. She LOVES the tree. She'll just get a book and go sit almost underneath it and stay there forever. :)
After we got done putting the tree up I started to not feel so well. It turned into the worst flu bug I think I've ever had! Kaydence got it too so it was a pretty bad week for us. :( Luckily Rob has an iron gut or something because he never ever gets sick, so he was able to take care of us. He is the most loving hubby ever!
It was my daddy and neice Ellie's birthdays last week so we got to celebrate that! Boy my dad is getting old! Ha ha. Happy 52 dad! Love ya!
On Tuesday I went to a baby shower for my friend Jen. She is the cutest pregnant girl ever! It was so fun to see all my friends again. I love getting together with them. Most of us have kids now so it is super fun to talk about being pregnant or having a little baby. :)
The rest of the week went pretty well. Rob and I went on a date and my sister in law watched Kaydence for us. She offers at least once a week so we can have date night! We love Stacie!
Rob is doing well at work and started working out tons again so he's having a good time too! Getting super buff! Me likey! :)
Kaydence has been kinda clingy the last week, which is weird for her but I finally figured out what was going on... She got 2 more teeth! Now she has a total of 6. She looks so cute with her little teethy smile. :) I'll have to post a cute pic next time.
Anyway, sorry for the lengthy blog but I am super bored, waiting for a new washer to get delivered and baby is down for a nap. It's just nice to have a little quiet time!

15 months old!

I took Kaydence to her 15 month appointment a couple days ago and she is fit as a fiddle! She finally weighs 20 lbs(20.1 to be exact). Now I don't feel so guilty having her in the big girl car seat for kids 20 lbs and up. :) She is 30 inches tall too. She is still only in the 15th percential for her age. I know, I know, she's tiny but I swear that girl eats like her daddy! The doctor was worried that she'd only gained 3 lbs in the last 6 months but he isn't worried anymore because it is steady growth. Kaydee will just be our itty bitty bug forever! The doctor was so surprised at how many words she says like please, thank you, want, more, book, puppy and many more along with everyones names. Also, she understands many words in Spanish thanks to daddy. :) You can say cold, hot, hi, bye, come, go, up, down, and many more in Spanish or English and she knows what to do or say. :) We've got a little genius on our hands! The doctor played hide and seek and did popcorn popping on the apricot tree with her too. Sorry, I don't mean to sound like I'm bragging but there is no greater joy in the world than to see your children grow!

Twilight!!

Thats right, the little nerd inside me couldn't wait a single day for Twilight to be in the theatres to see it! My sisters, mom and I went and saw it yesterday. It was a really great movie! I thought that they did a really good job getting everything from the book in the movie. Of course it is a little sappy but heck, it's a chick flick. Besides, I like sappy! :) I won't spoil anything for anyone but I definitely suggest seeing it! Also, my sister and I made shirts to wear there. Once again, the little nerd inside me comes shining through. My shirt said "Team Edward" and hers said "I like my men cold, dead and sparkly". There were so many people there with shirts like that so we felt right in place! :)

Boy time flies!

Today is mine and Robs 3 1/2 year anniversary! Our family is goofy cuz we celebrate half birthdays and anniversaries but it's just another time to celebrate!! These past years have been the bumpiest and best years of my life!! I cannot put into words what my hubby means to me! I count my lucky stars everyday that I have him in my life! I really couldn't ask for a better hubby and daddy to my little girl! He works so hard for our family and does everything he can to make life great for us all! He is so patient with me! Especially when I'm pregnant, which I am greatful for in hopes that it'll be here soon again! So, just a little shout out to him to tell him thanks for all he does for Kaydence and I and to tell him how much I love him! Also, Kaydence says she loves her daddy very much! :)
